Daniel Nettheim

Daniel Nettheim is an Australian director and writer.

He established himself in Australian television, working on shows for networks such as Seven, Ten and Foxtel; programmes included Satisfaction (which won the 2009 ASTRA Awards for Most Outstanding Drama), Spirited (won the 2012 AATCA Award for Best Television Drama Series), and Rush (won the 2010 AFI Award for Best Television Drama Series). He also directed a number of episodes in the K9 series. His film, The Hunter, was nominated for fourteen Australian Academy Awards.

Moving to the United Kingdom, he worked on shows such as Whitechapel, Line of Duty 2, Glue, and Doctor Who.

He is the nephew of actor David Nettheim.
