IMDB

Richard De Croce acquires programming across all BBC AMERICA platforms, identifying potential co-production projects, and building and maintaining relationships with the UK’s leading television producers. He was appointed Vice President, Programming for BBC AMERICA in February 2005 and promoted to Senior Vice President, Programming in 2008.

Formerly Richard worked at MTV Networks, where he oversaw the international distribution of Comedy Central’s original programming, including South Park, The Daily Show, and Chappelle’s Show.  Richard began his career in motion picture and commercial production and later moved into worldwide film and television distribution.

He is the fourth generation of his family to be involved in the entertainment business.  The great-grandson of rival New York theater owners, his grandfather and uncles followed their parents into the theater and film businesses, and Richard spent many a Saturday afternoon in his film editor father’s cutting room in Times Square.  This background became the foundation for his lifelong passion for film and television.
