Born in Jersey, Michelle trained at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art (graduating with honours ) and with the National Youth Music Theatre.

Theatre credits include - national tours : Elvira in ‘ Blithe Spirit ‘ , Christine in ‘ Trespass ’ , McKenzie in ‘ Party to Murder ‘, Jane in ‘ Steaming ‘, Paula Barlow in ' Portrait of Murder' , Belinda in ‘ Season’s Greetings’ , Suzy in ‘ Inside Job ‘, Eileen Forbes in ' The Sound of Murder ’, Lady Isadora in ' Secondary Cause of Death ', Susan in ' Swap ! ’, Lady Diana in ' Less Than Kind ' , Mary in 'Run For Your Wife ' ( 25th Anniversary production ), Joanna Mansfield in 'Fatal Encounter', Sue in 'You're Only Young Twice' , Marion in 'Busybody', Linda in 'Cash on Delivery'.

Other theatre work includes : Maxine in 'Stepping Out' at The Mill at Sonning Theatre ; The title role in 'Carmilla' at the Grand Theatre Wolverhampton, Helen Avery in 'The Colour of Justice' at the Tricycle Theatre, Lyttelton Theatre (NT),West End and national tour , Jacquinetta in 'Love's Labour's Lost' at Cliveden and Cannizaro Park ; Molly in 'Love's a Luxury' at Vienna's English Theatre; Susannah in  'Bedroom Farce' at The Drayton Arms Theatre ; Christine in 'Only When I Laugh' ; Cynthia in 'One For The Pot' ; Simone in 'A Bedfull of Foreigners' ; Jean in 'Don't Just Lie There, Say Something !', Jane in 'Two and Two Make Sex', Julie in 'Perfect Wedding', Mary in 'Holiday Snap' and Lorna in Stella's Song' - for The Mill at Sonning. Jack in 'Jack and the Beanstalk' at the Theatre Royal Windsor, alongside Eric Sykes. She was chosen to create the lead role of Lisa in 'Have You Seen This Girl?' by Peter Terson and Matthew Scott at Broomhill Theatre.

With the National Youth Music Theatre - productions of 'The Ragged Child' and 'Pendragon' in New York, Canada, the Far East and in the U.K at the Palace Theatre, Lyric Hammersmith, Royal Albert Hall, the Edinburgh Festival at George Square Theatre ( Fringe First Award ) and at Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sydmonton Festival.

Michelle is best known to television audiences as Jess Howarth ( series regular ) in 'The Knock'. Other TV work includes ; 'Doctor Who'( School Secretary - Coal Hill School ), 'Endeavour' , Joolz in 'Big Kids' , 'Little Howard's Big Question' , 'The Colour of Justice', 'Births Marriages and Deaths' and 'Bugs'.

She can be heard on the Doctor Who audio book ‘ The Invention of Death ‘ ( The First Doctor Adventures ) playing Brenna for Big Finish Productions.

Qualified in Health and Fitness, Michelle runs marathons and competes in various extreme sports events in the U.K and abroad, raising money for various charities.
