Calvin Dean was born in Truro, Cornwall. Having been part of the National Youth Theatre between 2001-2005, his break-through came in The Duchess, and was critically acclaimed for his first lead role, as Darren Mullet in Tormented. He has also appeared in shows like Demons, Casualty, and Law & Order UK.
