Born: Friday 16th August 1935 (age: 89)Janet E. A. Henfrey is a British stage and television actress, best known for playing Mrs. Bale on As Time Goes By, and for her role as the schoolteacher in the 1986 BBC Dennis Potter serial The Singing Detective.
She played Miss Hardaker in the 1989 story The Curse of Fenric.
