Joy Almondo

Joy Almondo booked a single room at the Sandringham Hotel at Christmastime in 2024.

She attempted to escape from home every Christmas after her mother died on Christmas Day during the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the circumstances of the pandemic, she was not even allowed to visit her mother in hospital, forced instead to talk to her using an iPad.
