Colin Lavers was responsible for designing the costume of the Fifth Doctor. His other TV credits included the BBC's Shakespeare series and Judge John Deed.
He suffered a heart attack and died at home suddenly. His funeral was held on 24th July 2012 at South Essex Crematorium in Upminster.
