Michael Leader played a number of extra roles in film and television, which as well as Doctor Who also included many years as the milkman in Eastenders, and is also credited as the notorious stormtrooper who bangs his head on a door on the Death Star during the original Star Wars film.
He was also a founder member of the Laurel and Hardy Appreciation Society.
