Anna Barry has worked all over the world, most often in Canada and Saudi Arabia, in various productions, and with her one-woman shows. She's also directed over 50 productions in regional theatres around the UK.

Her theatrical creditsinclude: - Gertrude to Sir Ian McKellen's "Hamlet"; leading roles in "Half-A-Sixpence" and "Our Man Crichton"; title roles in "Trilby" and "Hedda Gabler"; also "Merchant of Venice" (Portia), "Twelfth Night" (Olivia), and "Three Sisters" (Masha). 

Barry toured Europe playing Lady Bracknell in "The Importance of Being Earnest", and has presented one-woman shows, "Talking Heads" by Alan Bennett, "Mistress Mine" (Edinburgh Festival), and Peter Shaffer's "Whom Do I Have the Honour of Addressing?" (its first performance in the UK). Most recently, she starred in "Driving Miss Daisy" in Frankfurt. 

Commercials and broadcast work includes: TV Licensing, Hampton Court, Wella, Royal Mail, and providing dozens of characters for "The People's Century" (BBC), "Hitler's Generals", "The Boer War", "Timewatch" and "Panorama" (BBC). Recently recorded an episode of Casualty, playing opposite her real-life husband! Readings for Hell in the Pacific (ITV) and Correspondent (BBC) - and has "played" both Queen Victoria and the Queen Mother in 2002.
