Carole Clarke had an uncredited part as one of the schoolchildren in The Pilot Episode and the final transmitted version of the first Doctor Who story, An Unearthly Child.

As Carol Friday she was a pop star in the late 1960's

Later as Caroline Villiers she returned to acting appearing in All the Fun of the Fair and the TV Movie Great Big Groovy Horse

She played Eliza Doolittle in the Cameron Mackintosh production of My Fair Lady
