Joseph Marcell

Joseph Marcell is a St. Lucian-born British actor, best known for his work as Geoffrey the English butler on the NBC sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
Marcell moved from St. Lucia with his family to England when he was five years old. He studied at the University of Sheffield in South Yorkshire and graduated from the Central School of Speech and Drama.
He serves on the board of the Globe Theatre in London and is a British citizen. He currently lives in South bank near the Tate modern gallery.
