Noemi Del Rio


Noemi Del Rio a Colombian/Cuban-American is originally from Miami, FL. 

She started dancing at the age of 4 and acting on stage soon after. Her musical theatre training started at New World School of the Arts in Miami, FL and continued at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City.  Since moving to New York City at the age of 18 she began her theatre credits with Steven Schwartz’s Captain Louie which launched her theatre career to include: Carmen the Musical at The La Jolla Playhouse and a new musical by Douglas Carter Bean “Give It Up” at the Dallas Theatre Center. 

Her most notable theatre credits are: a cast member of the Broadway Tony award winning musical “In The Heights” and the lead role in Raul Castillo’s “Knives and Other Sharp Objects” at the NY Public Theatre.  Noemi relocated to Los Angeles and has now transitioned to TV/Film earning credits on episodes of Law and Order SVU and Torchwood on Starz Network. Other TV credits include: MTV Video Music Awards, The Latin Grammys, TRL, BET’s 106 & Park, The Tyra Banks Show to name a few.  Her dance training has given her the opportunity to dance for various artist such as: Shakira, Thalia, Cassie and many others.  

Del Rio is also involved in a clothing line, which is a family business venture started with her brothers and father.
