Eran Backler

Born in 1976, Eran Backler trained with the National Youth Theatre Israel and is now with the Guildford School of Acting (2013). He has been involved with several of their productions, including Three Sisters, Blood Wedding and A Midsummer's Night Dream, and in May 2013 he appears in their production of Metamorphoses at Guildford's Ivy Arts Centre.

In television, as well as his role as a submariner in Cold War, other roles have included a rioter in Casualty, a shopper in Trollied, a worker in Merlin. Film roles include a zombie in The Eschatrilogy: Book of the Dead and a fan in the forthcoming The Muppets Again.
