Lesley Hatfield

A first class graduate of Clare College, Cambridge, Lesley Hatfield went on to gain a Recital Diploma at the Royal Academy of Music. She has had a distinguished career as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral leader and teacher.

She was played with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, was co-leader of Northern Sinfonia and then leader of the Ulster Orchestra before taking up her current position as leader of the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
