Alan Cumming, OBE

Alan Cumming is a Scottish-American actor, singer, writer, and activist, from Aberfeldy, Scotland.

He is best known for his performances across film, television, and stage, with notable roles in X2: X-Men United, The Good Wife, and the Broadway revival of Cabaret. Cumming's career spans a wide range of genres, including comedy, drama, and musical theatre.

A graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, he first gained recognition in the UK for his role in the 1992 film The House of Mirth. In addition to his acting career, Cumming has written several books, including a memoir titled Not My Father's Son, and he is a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and political activism.

Known for his distinctive voice and charismatic presence, Cumming's work has earned him numerous awards, including a Tony Award for his portrayal of the Emcee in Cabaret. He is the US presenter of the game show The Traitors.
