Malachi Kirby
Born: 1988 (age: 36)Malachi Kirby was born in Croydon. He has appeared in the films Offender and My Brother the Devil, and had numerous small roles in programmes like The Bill, Casualty and East Enders, as well as Doctor Who.
He was shortlisted for Outstanding Newcomer at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards in 2011 for his role in the acclaimed play Mogadishu.
He is playing the lead role of Kunte Kinte in a new television adaptation of Roots.
