Bio by Aidan Matear

Lady Cassandra O’Brien dot delta seventeen claimed to be the last “pure” human but was basically a flat representation made of skin and lipstick. Her catchphrase, “Moisture Me” rang out frequently. She required her stewards and especially her servant, Chip the clone, to spray her with water to prevent her from drying out. She was aristocratic, patronising and spiteful, with Rose Tyler describing her as a ‘bitchy trampoline’.  Lady C’s view was that she was so much better than everyone else and she looked down her nose at everyone, if it was actually possible to look down a flat nose! A ghastly snob, she was the complete antithesis of political correctness. If she could have accessed Twitter one can only imagine what she would have posted about her own greatness. But stretched out in a picture frame, she wasn’t as powerful or in control as she wanted to be. She grafted herself onto Chip’s body but as a clone he had a limited life span and eventually she had to accept that she couldn’t live forever, even as a piece of skin. The Tenth Doctor and Rose used The TARDIS to take her back in time to her younger self’s birthday party. As Chip she died in her own, younger, arms.
