Benjamin was the son of Isabella and Eric. One year, when she was released from stasis, he had Christmas dinner with Abigail Pettigrew, his parents, the Eleventh Doctor and Kazran Sardick.

Years later, he took his family to ask Kazran to release Abigail just for Christmas. When Kazran refused, his son threw a lump of coal at Kazran, who threatened to beat the boy.
