Television Club was part of schools' programming broadcast on BBC One, introduced in 1962 and running until 1982. In 1972 it was revamped into a magazine programme aimed at senior school children (12-14), and the first two episodes focussed on filming in television. The second of these Putting On A Show specials looked behind the scenes of filming for The Sea Devils. The episode is missing presumed wiped.
