Died: June 2011

Rod Woodruff was a Stunt co-ordinator for the 2005 Doctor Who stories Rose and World War Three.

Derby-born Rod Woodruff carved out a glowing reputation as a fearless stuntman in front of the camera and one of the most reputable stunt coordinators behind it during his 30-year career.

As a Stuntman he fired an arrow at Kevin Costner while filming Robin Hood and took part in a fierce gunfight with Harrison Ford. His career saw him compile a hugely diverse filmography including Doctor Who and Hollyoaks on the small screen and blockbusters like Quantum of Solace and Indiana Jones on the silver screen.

He was one of the film industry's leading stunt experts on fire.
