Polly James is an award winning British actress with a varied career in theatre, film, television and radio spanning nearly 40 years.

She is best know for playing Beryl Hennessey in the first four series of the British sitcom The Liver Birds (1969-74).

She appeared in the 1984 Doctor Who story, The Awakening.

Her TV career began in BBC2's Thirty-Minute Theatre, followed by the role of a drug addict in Z-Cars in 1967. She played Audrey Hargreaves in Coronation Street in 1967.

She played Cicely Courtneidge in the biographical musical of the actress Once More with Music

In conjunction with her acting career, Polly James developed her directing and teaching skills both in the London theatre and in drama-based development workshops with the internationally renowned Skyros community.

Her son is the actor Adam James.

William Lucas (died 2016 aged 91) - credited as Range in Frontios

William Lucas is a British film and television actor.

His first acting role was in the filmPortrait of Alison (1955), and later appeared in many Hammer Film Productions such as Shadow of the Cat. He is probably best known for his role in The Adventures of Black Beauty (1972�74) as Dr. James Gordon.

He played Range in the 1984 story Frontios, taking over from Peter Arne who was originaly cast, but who was murdered shortly before production on the story commenced.

More recently he has appeared in The Bill, Last of the Summer Wine and long-running ITV soap opera Coronation Street.

Peter Hawkins (died 2006 aged 82) - 12 credits, including Dalek Voice in The Daleks

Peter Hawkins was an English actor and voice artist. He was one of the first voices of the Daleks and the Cybermen working on at least 48 episodes of Doctor Who.

Hawkins' long association with British children's television began in 1952 when he voiced both Bill and Ben, the Flower Pot Men. In 19551956, He voiced Big Ears & Mr. Plod from The Adventures Of Noddy. He also provided all the voices for the animated series Captain Pugwash, The Family Ness, The Adventures of Sir Prancelot, The Adventures of Tintin, and Bleep and Booster, the latter of which was a regular feature of Blue Peter in the 1960s and early 70s.

He was also the original voice of Zippy on Rainbow during the first year of its run (1972). Hawkins was the original voice for the character of Frankie Mouse in the fourth radio episode of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, originally broadcast in March 1978.
