Chris Jury (born in Coventry) is an English actor/writer/director with a range of television credits. He is best known for his role as Eric Catchpole in the antique trade drama Lovejoy starring Ian McShane

Jury studied Drama/English at Hull University and began working as an actor in the theatre with such names as Mike Bradwell, Danny Boyle and Anthony Minghella; And with companies as diverse as Hull Truck, The Bush and Stratford East.

Through his own company, Picture That, he produced and directed To Baldly Go, a short romantic comedy which was sold to Channel 4 in the U.K, and also secured an international distribution contract, selling to numerous TV stations throughout Europe and the USA. After a brief spell working in drama script development at BBC Pebble Mill, in Birmingham, he made two more short films for Picture That; Poppy's Present, which he produced and directed and Puke Fiction (The Vomit Trilogy), which he wrote and directed.

Puke Fiction, was shown in competition at the Ritzy Cinema in Brixton and won the Electric Pavilion Award, for Best Film, awarded by the Halloween Society. It was also chosen for a screening at the ICA as part of the 'Uncut' season of short films and was also shown in the 'British Shorts' section of the Manchester Film Festival and The Big Fix Festival in Birmingham.

His broadcast directing credits include Grange Hill, Dream Team, Coronation Street, Crossroads, Family Affairs and over 40 episodes of EastEnders. His writing credits include, The Dig, a two act comedy for the Cambridge Theatre Company, Mancini’s Empire, One Inch of Heaven, Roeg’s Rage, Wired, plus numerous episodes of The Bill and The Doctors, Casualty and Holby City. He also appeared as teacher Mr Knowles in Grange Hill. In 2006 he has moved into writing feature films including Human Resources.

Chris Jury's other acting roles include Kingpin/Deadbeat in the 1988 Doctor Who story The Greatest Show in the Galaxy. Jury lives in Blockley, Gloucestershire with his wife Stella, Head Teacher of Hook Norton Primary School and two children Maisie and Joseph. He currently teaches in the Performing Arts faculty at Bath Spa University.

Gareth S. Armstrong is a British actor.

Armstrong began his career by acting in school plays at the Bishop Gore School, Swansea. At the age of 16 he joined the National Youth Theatre; and went on from there to study drama at Hull University.

Armstrong's television credits include: Z-Cars, Doctor Who (in the serial The Masque of Mandragora), Blake's 7, The Professionals, Terry and June, One Foot in the Grave, Casualty and EastEnders.

On stage he has appeared in many productions of Shakespeare, including the role of Shylock in The Merchant of Venice. He has also toured internationally in his own one-man show Shylock, in which Shakespeare's principal Jewish character is seen from the viewpoint of Tubal, the Bard's only other Jewish character and Shylock's only friend in the original play. In 2004 he published his account of presenting this character, in A Case for Shylock - Around the World with Shakespeare's Jew.

Armstrong did the voice acting for the Japanese television series Journey to the West, released in English-speaking countries as Monkey.

On radio Armstrong has played three recurring roles in The Archers on Radio 4, including Sean Myerson, the publican of the Cat and Fiddle and the serial's first regular gay character.

Rudolph Walker, OBE is a British character actor. Born in Trinidad and Tobago, Walker came to the United Kingdom in 1960.

His first major television role was as a policeman in the British drama The Wednesday Play, in the episode entitled "Fable" (aired 27 January 1965).^[1] He is known for his comedic roles in Love Thy Neighbour, The Thin Blue Line and in Ali G Indahouse. 

He appeared in Doctor Who, in the 1969 serial The War Games. 

He was one of the first black actors to be seen regularly on British television, and has always been proud of his role on the controversial Love Thy Neighbour as a result.

He appeared in the first episode of On the Buses, "The Early Shift", and the first episode of Mr. Bean as "The Examiner". Since 2001, he has played Patrick Trueman on EastEnders and in 2010 he appeared in the Internet spin-off series EastEnders: E20. He has also starred in a BBC1 sitcom called The Crouches, about a family from Walworth, in South East London. He played the grandfather for all seasons (2003–2005)

Although most of his work has been on television, he has appeared in several movies, including 10 Rillington Place, King Ralph (along with his Love Thy Neighbour co star, Jack Smethurst), andLet Him Have It. On the stage, he appeared in the first production of Mustapha Matura's Play Mas at the Royal Court Theatre in 1974, and has played the titular character in stage productions ofShakespeare's Othello, directed by David Thacker and Charles Marowitz, and also Caliban in a production of The Tempest directed by Jonathan Miller. He was also Gower in Thacker's 1989 production of Pericles, Prince of Tyre.

Walker was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 2006. A children's biography about him was published by Tamarind Books on 4 September 2008.

Terence Dudley was a television director andproducer who directed many programs for the BBC over a number of years.

In the early 1970s, Dudley produced the BBC science fiction series Doomwatch. Between 1975 and 1977 he produced the series Survivors, directing many episodes. He also wrote the script for the season 3 premiere episode, entitled Manhunt. His son, Stephen Dudley, had a regular part in the program.

In 1980 he began an association with Doctor Who when he directed Meglos for John Nathan-Turner. That same year, he was asked to become producer of Blake's 7 after David Maloney was re-assigned before it was known that a fourth season would be made. Dudley turned the offer down, as he no longer wished to work as a producer. The following year he embarked on a brief career as a screenwriter for Doctor Who. He wrote three scripts for the programme - Four to Doomsday, Black Orchid and The King's Demons. He novelized the latter two stories forTarget Books. He also wrote the script of K-9 and Company, the unsuccessful pilot for a spin-off involving Sarah-Jane and K9.

Terence Dudley died after a long period of cancer on Christmas Day 1988.

Denis Carey was a British actor who appeared in many film and television roles.
