William Ash, (born in Chadderton, Greater Manchester) is a British TV and film actor.

He appeared in the 2007 story 42.

His appearances include Making Out ,Mad About Mambo, Lilies, Burn It, All the King's Men, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Doctor Who and more recently Hush and Waterloo Road. He began his career in the ITV series Where the Heart Is. His stage credits include the premiere production of How to Disappear Completely and Never Be Found with Sheffield Theatres. In 2009, Ash played the leading role of "Zakes Abbott" in the British horror film HUSH. Ash also has minor roles in programmes such as Coronation Street and has completed voice-over work for TV advertisements. He also appeared inHeartbeat back in 1992 where he played a cheeky school boy for one episode. From 2009-2011 Ash also starred as Deputy Headteacher 'Chris Mead' in the award winning drama Waterloo Road. On 12 April 2011, Ash played a young Yuri Gagarin in the BBC Radio 4 Afternoon Play; Titatium, broadcast in honour of the 50th anniversary of the first manned flight into space. On Saturday 23rd July 2011, William Ash appeared in the long-running medical drama Casualty, playing an ex-sex offender who was involved in a RTC with his girlfriend and girlfriends daughter. Will later played a character called Jesus O'Toole in channel 4's 'Shameless'.

Jack Watling was a British actor.

He played Travers in 12 episodes of Season Five of Doctor Who, acting alongside his daughter Deborah Watling, who played the Second Doctor's companion Victoria Waterfield. He reprised the role decades later in the independent Doctor Who spin-off video Downtime (1995).

Watling trained at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Artsas a child and made his stage debut in Where the Rainbow Ends at the Holborn Empire in 1936. He made his first film appearances (all uncredited) in Sixty Glorious Years, Housemaster (both 1938) and Goodbye, Mr Chips(1939).

In 1941, he played Bill Hopkins in Once a Crook in his West End debut. Later that same year, he played George Perrey in Cottage to Let. He starred as Flight Lieutenant Teddy Graham in the original 1942 production of Terence Rattigan's Flare Path.

He had a long career in low-key British films, originally in easy-going boyish roles. Early appearances were in We Dive at Dawn (1943), The Way Ahead (1944), The Winslow Boy (1948) and Meet Mr. Lucifer(1953). In 1955 he appeared in Orson Welles' Mr. Arkadin.

In 1958 he played Fourth Officer Joseph Boxhall in the critically acclaimed docudrama A Night To Remember. In 1960 he appeared in the film Sink the Bismarck.

His reputation as an effective and reliable television actor took root in the early 1960s. Between 1964-69 he was Don Henderson, the troubled conscience to tough businessman John Wilder (Patrick Wymark) inThe Plane Makers and its sequel The Power Game. Watling also appeared as Doc Saxon in the 1970s series Pathfinders. 

Watling was married to former actress Patricia Hicks. He was the father of actors Dilys Watling, as well as Deborah Watling and Giles Watling, and of sculptor Nicky Matthews.

Eric Dodson was an English actor born in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire who played many roles in films and on television.

After amateur acting he joined the Royal Air Force in 1941. Following training in Canada he served in RAF Coastal Command, flew bombers and was a liaison officer in Yugoslavia. He then returned to acting with a repertory theatre in Edinburgh.

He appeared as bar owner Jack Pomeroy in Series Three to Five of Rumpole of the Bailey. He also appeared in the Doctor Who story The Visitation, in Porridge as Banyard and many other roles. 

His film appearances included The Dock Brief, Battle of Britain and The Mirror Crack'd.

Jack Cunningham played the jailer in the Doctor Who story The Reign of Terror.
