Tracy-Ann Oberman is an English television, theatre and radio actress. Best known for her role as Chrissie Watts in BBC1 soap opera EastEnders from 2004–05. Also a writer, Oberman has contributed to a number of radio sketch shows and in 2008 co-authored with Diane Samuels the critically acclaimed play Three Sisters on Hope Street. In 2010 she wrote and starred alongside Catherine Tate in her BBC Radio 4 play Bette and Joan and Baby Jane and in 2012 wrote the BBC Radio 4 play Rock and Doris and Elizabeth. Oberman was a regular columnist for The Guardian newspaper during 2007.

Following training at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, Oberman spent four years with the Royal Shakespeare Company, before joining the National Theatre. Her extensive theatrical background includes appearing with Kenneth Branagh in David Mamet's Edmond (2003) and a run in the West End revival of Boeing-Boeing (2007–08). She recently appeared in a production of Earthquakes in London in its 2011 run as Sarah Sullivan.

Oberman's TV credits include Doctor Who, Mistresses, Robin Hood, and Doctors. Prior to EastEnders Oberman appeared in a variety of television programmes including Casualty (1997–98), Kiss Me Kate (1998), and The Bill (2000), and carved out a comedic niche with leading roles in Bob Martin (2000–2001), Lenny Henry In Pieces (2000–2003) and Big Train (2002). Oberman has performed in more than 600 radio plays since the mid-90s. She also had a recurring role in the penultimate and last series of procedural comedy-drama New Tricks (2014–15).

Oberman is also a column contributor to The Guardian and has been a regular contributor to the Jewish Chronicle since 2009. She also writes radio plays for BBC Radio 4.

Jessica Martin was 62 - 7 credits, including Mags in The Greatest Show in the Galaxy

Jessica Martin (born in Fulham, London, England) is an actor and comedian. She is probably best known for her work as an impressionist and voice artist on the television series Spitting Image, impersonating the voice of Her Majesty The Queen. She also appeared on Yorkshire Television's 3-2-1 in the 1980s with impressionist Aiden J. Harvey.

Jessica has also done voices on PC PinkertonFaeriesJunglies and Romuald the Reindeer.

She appeared in the Doctor Who serial The Greatest Show in the Galaxy and some of The Krypton Factor observation rounds in 1988. Martin provides voice acting for the English language version of the PlayStation 2 game Dragon Quest VIII, most notably as Empyrea.

In 2004 Jessica recorded a song for the CD Weird & Wonderful - A Collection Of Songs by Alexander S. Bermange celebrating weirdos and weirdness, featuring sixteen West End stars (released on Dress Circle Records). In 2008, she joined author and columnist Mark Steyn to release a cover of It's a Marshmallow World, a holiday song first popularized by Bing Crosby.

Martin also provided the voice for The Queen in the Christmas Special of BBC1's Doctor Who "Voyage of the Damned" broadcast on Christmas Day, 2007.

Jessica Martin is a patron of The Music Hall Guild of Great Britain and America and performed at the 50th anniversary Memorial Service for Lupino Lane at St Paul's Covent Garden.

John J Carney (died 1995 aged 54) would have been 84 - credited as Bloodaxe in The Time Warrior

John J. Carney was a British actor.

Television credits include: Dixon of Dock Green, UFO, Z Cars, The Sweeney, Blake's 7 and Shoestring.

He played Blood Axe in the 1973 story The Time Warrior.

His film appearances include: A Clockwork Orange (1971), Burke & Hare (1971) and The Shooting Party (1985).

He died of cancer, aged 54.


Bryan Mosley (died 1999 aged 67) would have been 93 - credited as Prop Man in The Daleks' Master Plan (as Buddy Windrush)

Bryan Mosley OBE was a British actor, known best as grocer Alf Roberts in the long-running ITV soap opera Coronation Street.

He played Malpha in the 1966 Doctor Who episode The Abandoned Planet.

Born in LeedsWest Riding of Yorkshire, he attended Leeds Central High School and held a childhood ambition to become a missionary. Instead he won a scholarship to Leeds College of Art (1944–46) and afterwards worked as a commercial artist. He also worked in a bookshop and sold books door-to-door.

After national service in the RAF, working in air traffic control, he trained as an actor at the Bradford Civic Theatre and Esme Church's Northern Theatre School.

He appeared in Coronation Street in 1961 and 1963, then from 1971 onwards. His appearances in the soap opera became less frequent following a serious heart attack in 1991. Alf Roberts made his last appearance on New Year's Day 1999 dying peacefully on screen in his sleep. Mosley died just weeks later of a heart attack in ShipleyWest Yorkshire aged 67.

As part of the show's 40th anniversary celebrations, heritage plaques were unveiled outside the Granada Studios in 2000 to four of the soap opera's stars, including Mosley. The other plaques commemorated the lives of Doris SpeedPat Phoenix and Violet Carson.

Mosley made his screen debut in A Kind of Loving (1962). He also appeared in Get Carter (1971) playing local gangster Cliff Brumby. He is famously killed by Jack Carter (Michael Caine) who beats him up and throws him from the roof of the infamous Trinity Square multi-storey car park in Gateshead, after discovering Brumby's involvement in his brother's death. He also made two appearances in The Avengers. Mosley also had a small role as the pub landlord in Queenie's Castle.

Peter Gilmore (died 2013 aged 81) would have been 93 - credited as Brazen in Frontios

Peter Gilmore (born in Leipzig, Germany) was a British actor, best known for his portrayal of Captain James Onedin in the BBCTelevision period drama The Onedin Line. He also had roles in 11 Carry On films and played the heroic lead in the adventure film Warlords of Atlantis. He played Brazen in the 1984 series Frontios.

In addition, Gilmore played the role of a young soldier in the World War I satirical musical Oh! What A Lovely War (1969).

He was once married to Worzel Gummidge actress Una Stubbs. At the time of his death, Gilmore was married to actress and Onedin Line co-star Anne Stallybrass.
